The Cruelties of the Spaniards Committed in America

The article claims the Spaniards were extremely cruel to the Natives when they discovered them, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, I agree that they were cruel and went too far with torturing and murdering innocent people. They were barbaric animals that didn't care who got in their they, they would kill them anyway. On the other hand, I still insist that some of what they did was necessary for them to be successful with their plans. But still, some of the things they did or told others to do were extremely graphic and disturbing, things that should never be done to another human being. The Spaniards were truly savages that would do anything to get their way and did not care for anyone elses well-being.
